Sometimes in human life, mortals make choices and do the things that they do not want to do, that they know it will shatter their physical, mental, and emotional power because of the task’s gravity, that they know it will destroy a part of their being because it is not what they desire. But they have to because it is the right thing to do.
And I have known you very well through those few years. I have seen you making struggles in confronting your own personal demons. I have been a witness to your sleepless nights where your mind is plunged into the negative thoughts about you think you have let everyone down, from your family to your friends. I served as your shadow wherever you go, from drinking sessions with your friends from the blogging world down to your comtemplating sessions during your night bus rides.
But are you serious about ending everything for good? Is this the fate that you really wanted? And you want me to become your judge, jury and executioner? You want me to be the final witness to your existence?
You have taught me a lot almost everything and anything about your human race, how you interact with people and all. And we have been friends for quiet a while, my dearest mortal friend. I do not want to steal the scythe of the Reaper and sacrifice you, so I have to take NO for an answer. I do not want to end everything while there is still the light at the end of the tunnel even though it is not shedding yet.
But if this is the fate you want and you think this is right, so be it. I will prepare your funeral, all the candles, that bronze casket, the hearse, and all you have to do is sign the deal. It is also in your will if you want everyone to know about this or not. Then we will do the Last Rites.
