Take note, Father of young, fiction-loving friend, that you are living in the modern age and not in the era of The Christ.
That may sound wrong in other mortals’ ears, but let me take this time to clear what I said. What I actually mean is this: there is nothing wrong with picking from your Holy Bible what is beneficial for oneself or for the society, but don’t you ever tell everyone that we should follow every page of it.
You should not even enforce what you believe in; all sentient beings have the freedom to choose for that.
